Your guests are our guests. Pre and post-ceremony gatherings unite friends and family or tie a bow on the occasion. Tofino and the Wickaninnish Inn offer a variety of memorable activities for all ages and abilities. Invite your party to a “Haven Day” at the Ancient Cedars Spa for a group yoga session or selection of treatments, a group surf lesson for an active splash, or take a marine excursion to spot some wildlife on and off our shores. Allow us to arrange a Welcome Reception or Goodbye Brunch at the Inn to celebrate your union.

Event Spaces


Salal Room

At 710 square feet, the Salal Room is a beautiful canvas for intimate celebrations from rehearsal dinners to wedding receptions and everything in between. Comfortably accommodating up to 40 guests, this versatile space can also be expanded by reserving the adjacent Shoreline Terrace to welcome larger groups or be reserved on its own for more private moments. Thoughtfully designed to inspire warmth and connection, the Salal Room provides an elegant backdrop for coming together in all forms.

Shoreline Terrace

Perched above Chesterman Beach, the glass-enclosed Shoreline Terrace offers 480 square feet of light-filled space, perfect for private parties of up to 20 guests or creating a breezy reception area. Skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, while direct access to the balcony invites guests to mingle, relax, and take in the fresh ocean air. The Terrace can be reserved on its own or paired with the adjoining Salal Room for a combined 1,190 square feet of versatile space, accommodating up to 60 guests in total.

Nestled deep in the ancient forest, Hemlock Hideaway is a secluded 1900 sq. ft. gathering space designed for private celebrations. With cozy loungers, glowing fire tables, and lush surroundings, it’s an ideal setting for post-wedding toasts, dancing, and unforgettable group moments in nature.

This climate-controlled space surrounds guests with an impressive collection of curated wines, while the handcrafted curved cedar table sets the tone for an unforgettable evening of shared stories, flavours, and connection.
