Meetings & Event Spaces
Salal Room
At 720 sq. ft, our Salal Room has generous space for workshops, seminars or larger gatherings up to 40 guests. Bordering alongside the Shoreline Terrace, the room size can be adjusted to accommodate more people, or divide breakout groups, as needed. The beautiful natural lighting and option to open the floor-to-ceiling windows on the Terrace invites fresh air in to stimulate the mind.
Shoreline Terrace
Perched overlooking Chesterman Beach, the glass-enclosed Shoreline Terrace offers 480 sq. ft and capacity for an additional 20 guests. Direct balcony access provides the opportunity to stretch and mingle between brainstorming sessions. It can be booked on its own or in combination with the Salal Room for a total of 1200 sq. ft, and a maximum of 60 guests.
Swordfern Boardroom
Our 500 sq. ft Swordfern Boardroom features a lived-edged Douglas Fir table for up to 10, a gas fireplace, wet bar and individual balcony. With acoustic privacy and a backdrop of the shoreline, this space offers a sense of intimacy for professional confidentiality and engaging discussion.
Howard's Wine Cellar
For an intimate breakout or food and beverage experience, 484 sq. ft Howard’s Wine Cellar, nestled in the bedrock of Vancouver Island, provides a collaborative and comfortable climate-controlled setting. Surrounded by an extensive collection of varietals, up to 20 guests can share tastes – and ideas! – at the artisanal curved cedar table.
