Summer Crab Cookout
A quintessential West Coast experience, our Summer Crab Cookout invites in-house guests to gather and enjoy the ocean’s bounty in the fresh ocean air. Set beneath old-growth trees with views of Chesterman Beach, this coastal feast is served family-style from our rustic beachside Crab Shack.
Savour seasonal salads, corn on the cob, roasted vegetables, fresh baked bread, and locally caught Dungeness crab, perfect for dipping in warm butter. Finish your evening with an assortment of desserts from our pastry team. Prepared and plated family-style by our dedicated Crab Cookout Chef & Service Team.

Location
Our setting is nestled under a tree canopy directly overlooking Chesterman Beach, between our Beach Building and Henry Nolla’s Carving Shed. Prepare for a rustic experience with beach sand for a floor, the forest as a backdrop, and marvellous ocean and beach views with cushioned seating and umbrellas in place for any late afternoon or early evening mist.
Reservations
Join us for our Summer Crab Cookout, offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, with our first event taking place Friday, June 26th, and ending on Labour Day weekend. Seatings are booked between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm
This laid-back oceanside experience includes a full meal of fresh Dungeness crab, non-alcoholic beverages, and dessert. Pricing is $115 per adult and $65 per child (ages 3–12), plus tax and gratuity. As this is a rustic, outdoor event, there’s no dress code - just come as you are, ready to relax and enjoy.
The Summer Crab Cookout is exclusively for guests of the Inn, and advance reservations are required. To request your preferred date, simply complete the form below - we’ll take care of the rest.
