We are delighted to introduce and warmly welcome Suzi-Mona Milne to our senior leadership team at the Wickaninnish Inn! Suzi joins us from the United Kingdom and has stepped into the role of Restaurant Manager at The Pointe Restaurant.

Suzi brings with her a rich career in Food and Beverage as well as a deep and genuine love for food, wine and creating unforgettable experiences through impeccable service. Most recently, as the General Manager of the King’s Arms, White Brasserie, Suzi has held leadership roles for the better part of her storied career, including General Manager for Cote Brasserie, Front of House Manager for the opening of Vintage Whiskey & Wine, and Manager of Patisserie Valerie.

Suzi’s experience goes beyond managing restaurants: she has a particular passion for wine. She has spearheaded wine training for several Cote Brasserie restaurants in the UK. She holds a WSET Level 3 certification and is currently working toward her WSET Level 4 Diploma. Together with the Inn’s Director of Food and Beverage and Sommelier Ike Seaman, Suzi will manage the front of house operations at The Pointe Restaurant and guide her team to create exquisite and magical experiences for all of our guests.

Suzi grew up in Salisbury, England, and always celebrated holidays with family in Portici, Naples, Italy. While travelling extensively through Europe and Asia, she was fortunate enough to live in Canada once before and “fell in love with the country.” While crossing the pond to Tofino might seem like a long journey to some, Suzi describes it as “feeling like I was coming home.” She began working with us this past December, just in time for the bustling festivities of the holiday season. Suzi was thrilled to have finally met the fantastic team at The Pointe Restaurant and worked with them to the end of an extraordinary year. Continuing to acquaint herself with the beautiful environment and community of Tofino, usually with a cup of tea in hand, Suzi is taking the opportunity during the Inn’s Annual Closure to explore and experience just how breathtaking this area can be before our re-opening at the end of January.

We couldn’t be more excited for Suzi’s expertise and leadership to guide and further elevate our west coast fine dining experience!
