Our wonderful Reservations team is often one of our guests' first touchpoints with the Inn. It's a fast-paced and energetic department, with three to five team members available during the day and our lines staying open overnight for 24/7 support. Our Guest Services representatives hold a special set of skills. They are approachable, knowledgeable, and incredible at anticipating the needs of our guests before they even set foot at the Inn. Making sure everything is ready well ahead of time to welcome our guests when they arrive and supporting a personalized experience during their stay is one of this team's special touches within our daily operations.
Five years ago, Jean joined our Front Office team as a Guest Services Representative before shifting into a night audit role. And now, we are proud to have her on our Reservations Team as a fantastic Reservations Supervisor. The opportunity to personally connect with guests over the phone or by email before they get to the Inn is one of Jean's favourite parts about her role. Hearing about what they're looking forward to seeing and experiencing during their visit to Tofino and helping them plan their stay is a facet of her job she finds particularly rewarding.
A true Tofitian at heart, Jean has made her way back to this little slice of the Island time and time again. This is where she feels most at home, and she doesn't see herself living anywhere else. You're sure to see her out on her cycling to Long Beach, strolling Chesterman Beach before work, or somewhere along the scenic multi-use path which stretches into the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and onwards to Ucluelet.
Our Wick family is a special one, and we are incredibly grateful to have team members like Jean here at the Inn!
