There’s a certain air of whimsy around the holidays, and at the Inn, we love to indulge in a touch of extra magic this time of year.

Our Holiday Light Tour first took place in 2020 amidst pandemic lockdowns that kept many of us cooped up at home. We wanted to do something lighthearted for the community that would invite people out to bask in some fresh air and enjoy the collective spirit of the holidays. Our first year was such a hit with kids and adults alike that we decided to make it an annual tradition.

Every year, the grounds around the Inn are transformed into a winter wonderland with beautiful displays of lights and decorations.

This year, the talented Tofino Ucluelet choir welcomed locals and visitors as they stopped by for a hot chocolate and a visit with Santa and his lovely elves. Together, we raised $2552.30 to donate equally between Fish and Loaves Tofino and Food Bank on the Edge in Ucluelet, our local food banks, and were fortunate to drop off numerous boxes of canned goods to bring to the Tofino food bank.

A special thank you to Camilla Thorogood for her contributions to the beautiful decorations, the Tofino Ucluelet Choir for entertaining everyone on a frosty night, to Tuff City Radio for sharing the news and the carols played during the event, and of course, Santa and his elves for providing a jolly welcome and hot chocolate to all.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this holiday tradition. From all of us at the Wick, we wish you a wonderful holiday season filled with warmth and joy!
