For Caroll-Ann Kerrigan, our Special Events Manager, this spectacular landscape isn't just a backdrop, it is the ultimate inspiration for creating unforgettable milestones. Behind every seamless event at the Inn is Caroll-Ann’s quiet dedication, steady warmth, and a lifelong passion for bringing people together.

Hospitality runs in Caroll-Ann’s blood. Raised by parents in the industry, she stepped into her first restaurant role at just 15 years old, quickly realizing that her love for human connection was a true calling. Driven by a desire to explore, Caroll-Ann pursued a wine program that took her on a global journey from vineyards to Michelin-starred restaurants in France, falling in love with the deep, intentional craftsmanship behind every bottle.

That exact appreciation for detail eventually brought her to the Wickaninnish Inn, where she spent five years as our Lead Sommelier.

But the property holds an even deeper, profoundly personal meaning for her: Caroll-Ann actually celebrated her own wedding right here at the Inn.

Having stood exactly where our couples stand, exchanging her own vows against this very coastline, she brings a beautiful, firsthand understanding to every ceremony she designs. When she transitioned into the events world three years ago, it felt like stepping into her true purpose, and a dream come true for the girl who had written a high school project about wanting to become a wedding planner.

Whether a couple chooses a dramatic ceremony right by the edge of the open ocean or prefers the quiet majesty of our "Cedar Cathedrals," the surroundings provide an incredible canvas. In the forest, couples can exchange their vows beneath a canopy of 1,200-year-old trees, a magical, sacred space that feels ancient and deeply protected.

While these settings look naturally picture-perfect from the outside, Caroll-Ann’s true talent lies in managing the beautifully unpredictable chaos behind the scenes with unshakeable drive. That dedication extends down to the very millimeter of the reception tables; as a lifelong perfectionist, she personally ensures that every fork, glass, and centerpiece is meticulously placed.

Of course, Caroll-Ann is the first to tell you that these extraordinary days are never a solo effort. Working tirelessly alongside her are Sarah and Maude, her dedicated team who pour their hearts into every logistical puzzle and setup.

But bringing an event to life at the Inn requires a synchronized symphony across the entire property. From Housekeeping making sure the spaces are immaculate, to the Front Office welcoming guests, to the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams delivering world-class food and service, success relies entirely on the shared passion and total buy-in of every single team member involved.

Everything from bar programs to custom culinary menus and handcrafted wedding cakes, everything can be fully personalized to weave a couple's history into their day. Season after season, knowing a couple is walking away with the most beautiful day of their lives safely tucked into their memories is what keeps Caroll-Ann, Sarah, and Maude inspired.
