It's all about the wine!

Wine expert: Congratulations to Ike Seaman, the Inn’s Director of Food & Beverage, who just received his International Sommelier Guild Sommelier Diploma. This intensive and demanding program is the only professional body that accredits sommeliers by direct instruction. Earning his diploma is the culmination of many years of training and study for Ike, who began his career at the Inn as an evening server at The Pointe restaurant. Expect exciting new things from an already impressive wine program.

Wine award: Raise a glass – make that two glasses – to The Pointe restaurant, which has just brought home the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence.  The prestigious magazine’s Wine Spectator's Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. The Best of Award of Excellence, symbolized by two wine glasses, gives special recognition to restaurants whose wine lists typically offer 400 or more selections of excellent breath or depth across vintages or wine regions. We’ll drink to that!

Wine for a cause: Well...more like bubbles! With the help of Okanagan Falls BC's Blue Mountain Vineyards, we're thrilled to offer the Blue Mountain Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation promotion and Tofino accommodation package in celebration of those affected by breast cancer. For every glass or bottle of Blue Mountain Rosé sold at the Inn in the month of October, partial proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation BC/Yukon Region.
