A magical countdown to the holidays: While Christmas at the Inn is already sold out, it’s still a magical time of year to celebrate the holidays together. With decorations going up by December 10th, we’re looking forward to a few weeks of fun and festive cheer—including our famous gingerbread display! Be sure to visit for a drink or bite while you’re in town.

An “Oysterrific” time of year: For safety precautions, Clayoquot Oyster Festival is not formally an event this year, however it’s still an incredible time to dine on those decadent shellfish. As well as The Pointe Restaurant, local eateries—Schooner Restaurant, Wolf in the Fog (and more!)—have wonderful oyster dishes made with the freshest local bounty!

Surfrider Short Film Festival (Nov. 20-22, 2020): Come see unique stories on our little-big screen. Our Pacific Rim chapter’s Short Film Festival is a popular event in town. Get together to see local and international films “that show diverse efforts to celebrate and protect the ocean, beaches, waves.”

Upcoming in December: Tofino’s Jingle into Christmas (usually in the first weekend in December) is now extended into 12 days of Jingle! This is the time all the shops and galleries offer festive surprises, delicious goodies and local gifts for all, it’s truly the best time to shop and browse November 21 to December 2, 2020. Be sure to join in the fun!
