Crab Cookout season has begun: Dining at our Crab Cookouts is a favourite guest experience—and we love putting them on. With three opportunities per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), guests of the Inn can take part in this summer seaside feast. Kick off your shoes, take a seat at our driftwood long table and dig into a spread of Dungeness crab, hot corn, several options of fresh-tossed salads, house-baked breads and dessert. We’ll finish off with some sweet and sticky s’mores by the fire. This seasonal celebration is not to be missed and fills up quickly, please book in advance and call 250.725.3106 to reserve. *Please note: because this charming camp-style event is held on the beach, we cannot serve alcohol at the table. Non-alcoholic beverages will be served, and guests can enjoy alcoholic beverages at the On the Rocks Bar before or after their dinner.

Daily flights with Island Express Air: Fly in over the rainforest. Island Express Air is now servicing regular, daily flights to and from Tofino to other Island destinations.

Plastic-free goes community-wide: While the Inn discontinued use of plastic straws a few years ago, the municipalities of Tofino and Ucluelet have now banned the use of both plastic straws and single-use plastic bags. Our local Surfrider Chapter has been a fantastic resource for us in becoming an even ocean-friendlier business, and their Rise Against Plastics campaign has been raising awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution for years. Their advocacy and collaboration with the local municipalities has put us at the front of the national plastic ban—a great step in the right direction.
