Our Gingerbread Merry-Go-Round: We must boast about our annual gingerbread display this year: a festive Christmas carousel! After hours of designing, baking and sculpting, Pastry Sous Chef Maria Desaulniers has lead the team to build an elaborate merry-go-round with prancing reindeer pulling sparkling sleighs filled with cute little elves and nutcrackers. The aromatic installation is a sweet beauty and can be found in the Wick lobby. If you’re inspired to make your own gingerbread creation, Chef Desaulniers has shared her recipe here.

New Years Celebration: We can’t believe we’ll be wrapping up 2018 already, but we’re planning to go out with a big hurrah! If you’re looking forward to dancing your way into the 2019, join us for our New Years Celebration featuring Tofino’s well-loved band, Ballistic Pig.

Annual Closure (January 2 - February 1, 2019): Our annual month-long closure begins January 2, 2019. This year, along with finishing touches to our Shoreline Terrace and Howard’s Wine Cellar, we’ll be installing two new water refill stations (the Vi Tap) by Vivreau in each lobby to reduce single-use bottled water and plastics. We look forward to showing our changes to you come our opening day, February 1, 2019.
