Educational fun for the whole family: Raincoast Education Society has brought back their wonderful education series this summer. Join the “Junior Naturalist’s Club” for rainforest walks or get to know the teeny tiny fauna of our oceans through microscopes on “Plankton Tuesday!” Explore the intertidal zone at “Beach Seine” and get a glimpse of this region’s incredible biodiversity in a way you’ve never seen it before.

Take a hike with Long Beach Nature Tours: Get to know the Pacific Rim with an experienced guide—Long Beach Nature Tours offers many adventures worth taking! Their private hikes and custom excursions take you further afield, whereas the on-property interpretive walks every Wednesday and Saturday allow you to discover secrets of the forest and coast here at the Inn. The walks are limited to six people, so don’t forget to book in advance!

For the social food lovers: We have just launched @ThePointeTofino on Twitter and Instagram, so you can stay up to date on all things food and beverage related from The Pointe Restaurant, On the Rocks Bar, Shoreline Terrace, Howard’s Wine Cellar and Driftwood Café. Look for posts celebrating our location, ingredients and producers, finished dishes and cocktails, and the amazing people producing all the things we love to taste!
