Stay safe. Stay well.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Wickaninnish Inn!
We are following B.C.'s four-step restart plan and are now open to all fully vaccinated travellers.
For a quick and plain-spoken summary of what is required to travel into Canada, check out this bullet point list that provides the basics for most travellers. We encourage all guests to be fully informed of the pre-entry and on-arrival public health and testing requirements, both federally and provincially while planning to visit us. For the latest information on travel to Canada, please visit the Government of Canada’s Travel and Tourism page.
A new order from British Columbia’s Provincial Health Officer requires that all individuals provide proof of vaccination to access a broad range of social, recreational, and discretionary events and businesses throughout the province. As such, all individuals accessing the Wickaninnish Inn property will be required to present government-issued proof of full vaccination (for individuals 12 years of age and older) and photo identification (18 years of age and older) to match the name listed on the proof of vaccination provided. We continue to take the pandemic very seriously to ensure the safety of our guests, our team and our neighbours in Tofino—a small community with limited resources. Read more on our COIVD-19 plan here.
Please note that you may experience a short wait time as you arrive on the property as we will review documentation for all individuals being welcomed to the Inn. If proof of vaccination cannot be provided at the time of arrival, individuals will not be permitted on Wickaninnish Inn property.
We are proud to announce that as of 2021, the Wickaninnish Inn has become a Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED™ property with Forbes Travel Guide. The comprehensive facility verification helps ensure that guests and travel planners can book with confidence at properties that have appropriate health safety procedures in place.
We were built for this
Tofino and the Wickaninnish Inn offer an abundance of natural spaces, allowing you the comfort and grounding of fresh air, clean spaces, and the ability to move freely on Chesterman Beach and our surrounding forest paths. All
air throughout both buildings is 100% from the external environment and not recirculated within public spaces or room to room.
