The Pointe Restaurant and Feast Tofino
Feast Tofino is a festival honouring our boat-to-table tradition, showcasing a locally-caught seafood. Restaurants in Tofino will be offering a nightly prix-fixe menu of either $29, $39, or $49/person, or a feature menu item starring these local delicacies.
The Pointe Restaurant here at the Inn will be offering our three course, prix-fixe menu for $49.00 and our Driftwood Café will offer a $29.00 seafood platter. Prix fixe menus are offered from May 5th until and including May 21st, 2017.
Along with the prix-fixe menu, and a mouth-watering accommodations package, the Inn is offering Intimate Chef's Table events featuring our own culinary brigade led by Executive Chef Warren Barr and select events with guest chef Lee Cooper of L'Abattoir (Vancouver).
About Chef Lee Cooper
Lee Cooper brings more than two decades of industry experience to the helm of L’Abattoir. Prior to opening L’Abattoir, Lee spent time honing his craft in some of the best kitchens in British Columbia before setting off to cook in several Michelin-starred restaurants in the U.S. and UK. Lee leads a talented young kitchen brigade at L’Abattoir, creating menus that reflect his favourite dishes and ingredients. Western Living magazine named Lee as one of its top 40 Foodies Under 40, and the Vancouver Sun ranked him among their top 10 up-and-coming chefs, adding that his cuisine is “casual and refined with an ease in orchestrating flavours, textures, presentation and technique.”
Friday May 5th, 5:30pm – 8:30pm | Driftwood Patio Grille with Chef Lee Cooper
Enjoy a casual, BBQ-style dinner al fresco on the patio or cozied up in the Driftwood Café. Mix and mingle with Chef Cooper and other foodies at this event to be preceded…or followed, by an evening stroll on Chesterman Beach! Tickets $60/pp plus taxes and service. Alcohol not included.
Saturday May 6th, 6:30pm | Intimate Chef’s Table with Guest Chef Lee Cooper at The Pointe Restaurant
Start your evening off with complimentary pre-dinner cocktails then, Guest Chef Lee Cooper, Chef Warren Barr and the Inn’s culinary brigade work together to bring you their combined take on this week's freshest available cuisine in a five Course tasting menu. A maximum of fourteen seats will be sold around the shared Chef’s table in The Pointe Restaurant’s Rainforest section.
Cost: $120.00/pp, plus tax & service (excluding alcohol)
