Tourism Tofino's weekly Washed Up Wednesdays returns this summer, a free, drop-in event for anyone inspired to help collect and record debris from local beaches. Gloves and buckets are provided, and younger participants can also pick up a beach scavenger hunt and Junior Ocean Protector sticker.

As the location changes weekly, check Tourism Tofino's event page to find out where the next clean-up will be held. Walking, biking, or taking the bus is encouraged to help reduce emissions and parking congestion.

Taking part also enters participants into a draw for a complimentary three-night stay for two at the Wick, with the winner announced at the end of summer.
