Three days of celebration, community, and self-expression unfold in Tofino this June, as Hotel Zed hosts another Pride weekend on the coast.

The weekend opens on Friday, June 12th, with an Après Surf Pride Kick Off in Hotel Zed's Sunken Living Room, featuring Matthew Presidente and Wan-Ting Moi. Saturday is the heart of the celebration with a Pride March at 3 PM, followed by live music and drag performances on the Pride Stage hosted by emcee Dee Twenty, a vendor village showcasing local makers, and an evening of dinner and drinks at ROAR. Sunday brings a Drag Brunch and Drag Après Surf at ROAR, both by reservation, before the weekend closes with an Après Pride Patio Show with Matthew Presidente and Wan-Ting Moi.

New this year, a free Pride Shuttle sponsored by Pacific Rim Navigators will run on Saturday, June 13th from 2 PM to 8 PM, looping from Cox Bay to the north end of town. The full shuttle route is available here.

Tofino also marked the occasion this year with the unveiling of its first pride crosswalk, a colourful new landmark in the heart of the community.
