We are pleased to welcome Ilia Poichuk as the next featured artist at the Henry Nolla Gallery, with her work on display from December 4 through February 16, 2026. One of the awarded artists from West Coast Vision 2025, she will also be participating in this year’s Artists in Action series.

Born and raised in Ontario and now a long-time member of Tofino’s creative community, Ilia has been exhibiting her work locally since 2014. Working primarily with oils, she focuses on capturing the essence of the West Coast experience without literal representation, drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape and her involvement with the Tofino Arts Council and the Tofino Contemporary Art Gallery.

When she’s not in the studio, Ilia can often be found exploring Tofino’s trails and hidden corners with her dog and her husband, continuing to draw inspiration from the coast that has shaped her work for over a decade.
