We are delighted to announce the details of a Winemaker’s Dinner featuring Stag's Hollow Winery on Friday, June 6th, in celebration of their 30th Anniversary. The evening will start with a 6 pm cocktail welcome in the Shoreline Terrace, followed by Chef Clayton’s five-course tasting menu perfectly paired with Stag's Hollow varietals. Keira LeFranc, Winemaker & Director of Operations at Stag's Hollow Winery, will guide attendees through the tastes and diversity of Okanagan Valley wines. Dinner will take place in Howard’s Wine Cellar, an intimate space surrounded by the Inn’s extensive wine collection and grounded to the very bedrock of Vancouver Island.

Tickets are priced at $275.00, plus applicable taxes and gratuity. To maintain an intimate atmosphere, purchases are limited to four tickets per guest. We extend our invitation to all; staying at the Inn is not a prerequisite for attending this event.

Keira LeFranc, Winemaker & Director of Operations:

Keira grew up in the Okanagan, and actually got her start in the wine industry in the Stag’s Hollow tasting room as her summer job in 2012. Showing a keen interest in the cellar side of things, after completing a science degree, she jumped at the opportunity to join our vintage team on the crush pad in 2013, which further solidified her passion for the industry. Following that first harvest, Keira spent 2 years training and working as a Sommelier in Australia, completing her WSET 3 and CMS Certified Sommelier. Missing getting her hands dirty in the cellar, she returned to the Okanagan to join our vintage crew again in 2015, before returning to the Southern Hemisphere to complete a Postgraduate Diploma of Wine Science in New Zealand, and an overseas harvest. She made her final move back to the Okanagan shortly thereafter and joined the Stag’s Hollow team permanently. In July 2018, she assumed the role of Winemaker, marking a pivotal moment in her career, and under her guidance, Stag’s Hollow has flourished, producing a portfolio of acclaimed wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region.

Stag’s Hollow Winery:

Stag’s Hollow, a family-owned winery in Okanagan Falls, BC, is a highly-awarded boutique winery producing not only exceptional Merlots, Pinot Noirs and red blends, but rare and interesting wines including Albariño, Dolcetto, Teroldego and Tempranillo. Innovative, with a spirit to be unique and push the limits of both grape growing and winemaking in the Okanagan, Stag’s Hollow chose these grapes, both new and old, that have proven to be well-suited to the area soils and microclimate in the designated sub-GI of Okanagan Falls. Stag’s Hollow recently achieved certification from Sustainable Winegrowing British Columbia and continues to focus on sustainable practices to minimize its operational impact on the environment. As the winery approaches its 30th anniversary in the spring of 2025, Stag’s Hollow invites wine lovers across Canada to join them in celebrating three decades of hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to the craft of winemaking.
