A new exhibition by Campbell River artist Kaylee Gelz will be featured in the Henry Nolla Gallery from May 5 through July 7.

Kaylee began painting landscapes in 2022, inspired by a deep connection to the terrain of Vancouver Island and its surrounding areas. Her work reflects a view of the landscape as alive and expressive, constantly shifting, layered with personality, and shaped by a sense of story.

Through expressive colour and brushwork, her paintings aim to capture both the essence and vibrancy of life on the West Coast, and the emotional atmosphere a place can evoke. Each piece invites viewers to bring their own perspective and experience into the frame.
