Driftwood Café
The Driftwood Café sits in the Beach Building overlooking Chesterman Beach, where the day's rhythm is yours to set. Come in for breakfast before heading out for a surf, grab a coffee mid-beach walk, or settle in for lunch by the fireplace when the weather turns. The café is open from early morning until late afternoon, flexible enough to fit whatever the day holds.

Fuel for your day
The menu is straightforward and satisfying. Breakfast sandwiches on house-made bread, daily soups, fresh salads, and house-made pastries all change with the seasons. BC wines and local beers are available, plus cocktails if the moment calls for something stronger.
Everything is prepared fresh, and most of it travels well if your plans take you elsewhere. Take your lunch to the beach, fuel up between sets (wetsuits are welcome!), or gather with friends over drinks on the beachfront patio in summer.
Location: The Driftwood Café is located in the Wickaninnish Inn’s Beach Building.
Hours:
Summer: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
*July & August: 6:00 am to 5:00 pm
Winter: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Art and craft nearby
The Henry Nolla Gallery is set within the Driftwood Café. It features rotating exhibitions by local artists and the legacy of Master Carver Henry Nolla, whose work defines the Inn. Wander down Chesterman Beach to the Henry Nolla Carving Shed, where local carvers work and welcome visitors. Art, food, and the beach are all within steps of each other.
