A Note from our HR Manager during COVID-19:
Thank you for your interest in being part of the Wickaninnish Inn team.
We are learning more every day about the COVID-19 developments, and after careful consideration, we have decided to close the Inn temporarily until such time as the situation improves.
As of March 17th, 2020 the Inn has been closed and we are continually re-assessing each week and/or as the situation changes. Our intention is to re-open to guests as soon as we safely can. We have work plans in place for additional sanitization and cleanings during our closure period, so when it is safe to re-open we are able to do so with full confidence that everyone will be safe and secure.
I appreciate in such uncertain times there is a lot of fear; it’s okay to be scared, however I urge you to remember our industry is founded on the principle of taking care of others. Often this principle is focused on taking care of guests; now is the time to focus on our colleagues, friends, families and communities.
During this temporary closure we do have limited hiring managers working however we are still reviewing resumes and arranging interviews for employment starting later this Spring and Summer 2020.
Please note response times may be delayed however we are looking forward to welcoming new staff and guests later this Spring as soon as it is safe to do so.
