What to Pack
Nature is dynamic, and we are in the midst of it. The West Coast is known for its rugged coastline shaped by the elements, meaning: it sometimes calls for inclement weather. We have distinct seasonal changes throughout the year, but you should always be prepared for some variety.
We live in a temperate rainforest, and that means we appreciate many wet days—even in the summer months. Even our hottest days can cool with the sea breeze in the evenings, so bring something warm to throw over your shirt for those sunset beach walks.
With that in mind, you don’t need to pack your whole wardrobe for the weekend! We provide sturdy rain gear in all the rooms and are happy to supply rain boots (based on size availability) if the storms race in.
We also provide what we can to facilitate the adventures you plan while you’re here; from backpacks and water bottles for day excursions or water shoes for visits to Hot Springs Cove, don’t let spontaneity stop you from being prepared. Thoughtful amenities, such as: beach towels, hair dryers and Comfort Zone body products, have been provided in our rooms for your enjoyment and will lighten your luggage load.
Tofino has a wonderfully easygoing vibe. We encourage a relaxed demeanour while you’re here, however, we encourage smart casual attire for visits to our fine dining restaurant, The Pointe Restaurant. Jackets and ties are not mandatory, but please no ripped jeans, athletic wear or baseball caps in the dining room.
