Yoga

Start each day with our daily Hatha yoga classes in the peaceful warmth of our Rainforest Haven, complete with a cozy fireplace—the perfect retreat on misty or stormy mornings. Curated for all skill levels, these classes help you greet the day with vitality and calm. With semi-private instruction (maximum of four participants), personalized attention is ensured. All necessary equipment is provided, and private instruction can be arranged upon request.

Fitness centre

Complement your outdoor activities in our Fitness Centre, equipped with free weights and a Paramount MP Series universal station to build strength and tone muscles. For cardio, hop on a treadmill, stationary bike or elliptical. Yoga mats and Pilates balls are available for a quick stretch or core workout.

Perched overlooking Chesterman Beach, our cozy library is home to a curated collection of historic artifacts, interesting books, and a guest workstation. Trails and beaches

Step outside and find yourself immersed in an ancient rainforest that winds down to driftwood along the shoreline. The Rainforest Beach Trail meanders through lush grounds and leads to the sands of Chesterman Beach. Discover hidden corners, identify native plants and enjoy scenic pathways through the forest and along the coast.

Complimentary nature tours

Join us for a morning nature walk with Long Beach Nature Tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 11 am (June to October) and on Saturdays at 10 am (September to May). Meet the local naturalist in the Beach Building lobby, then set off for a 1.5-hour walk to learn about rainforest flora, fauna and the area’s rich history. Rain gear is provided for stormy days, so the weather is never a concern.

Bikes and beach chairs

Experience the joy of exploring on two wheels! From May long weekend until Labour Day, guests can borrow our complimentary Priority Cycle bikes and beach chairs on a first-come, first-served basis. Ride along the Multi-Use Path into town, stop for an ice cream or fish and chips, and return the bike when you’re done. It’s the local favourite way to get around.

Electric Volvo

Guests of the Wickaninnish have the opportunity to test-drive our Volvo XC90 T8 for a two-hour block per person. Take a scenic drive to Pacific Rim National Park Reserve or visit the charming town of Ucluelet. Simply ask when booking your room, and we’ll arrange the details. Please note, this service is available to guests with a valid Canadian-issued driver's license

Shuttle service

For convenient transport around Tofino, the Inn offers a shared shuttle service daily between 9 am and 5 pm, providing easy pick up and drop off. After a whale-watching tour or a delicious meal at one of Tofino’s renowned restaurants, let us escort you back to the resort.

Nestled deep in the ancient rainforest, Hemlock Hideaway is a secluded gathering space designed for private celebrations. With cozy loungers, glowing fire tables, and lush surroundings, it’s an ideal setting for post-wedding toasts and unforgettable group moments in nature.

Kids and Pets

We warmly welcome families and furry friends, offering thoughtful amenities to enhance everyone's stay. Our Kids Basket includes beach toys, a playful West Coast-themed book, and a scavenger hunt to encourage exploration. Babysitting services are available upon request and are complimentary for guests dining in The Pointe Restaurant, subject to availability.

For our canine guests, we provide a Pet Basket stocked with treats, a pet bed, food bowls, and toys. Our dog wash station, complete with towels, makes it easy to keep your pet fresh after a day of adventure.
