SIGNATURE TREATMENTS
Rainforest Haven and Cedar Sanctuary. The Ancient Cedars Spa is proud to announce the opening of Rainforest Haven - a new treatment space designed to accommodate the latest additions to our Signature Family: Lomilomi and Kahi Loa. Together with our ocean-view Cedar Sanctuary, a variety of side-by-side treatment options is offered for couples, friends, and family. We have expanded our repertoire of side-by-side treatments to include the Sacred Sea, Facials and Hot Stone Facials. To enjoy our services side-by-side in one of our premiere oceanfront treatment rooms, please add $20 per person to the treatment rate. Some exceptions apply.
Kahi Loa
This treatment utilizes light touch, guided imagery and chanting to bring harmony and a renewed sense of oneness with our environment and the natural elements around us: Fire, Water, Stone, Plant, Animal, and Wind. A physically conservative treatment, it is ideal for the first time spa-goer and combines beautifully with traditional massage.
Lomilomi
Temple-style Lomilomi is traditionally used by Hawaiian shamans and healers as an initiation into wholeness of mind, body and spirit. The weaving of passive movement, stretching, and rhythmic whole-body massage strokes enhances relaxation and allows for the release of tension on many levels. The deeper meaning of Lomilomi is "to remove that which does not belong", thus to awaken the senses to harmony - a little bit of Hawaiian magic on the shores of our own " Big Island ". Lomilomi is available as a single (one practitioner) or duo (two practitioners). For Lomilomi treatments it is encouraged that contact lenses, make-up, jewellery and concern about oil in your hair be abandoned in favour of truly embracing this unique treatment.
Hot Stone Massage
This treatment is luxurious yet powerful. Experience the velvet texture of oiled stones as the soothing heat penetrates deeply to relieve all tensions. Allow the comfort and warmth of customized essential oils to melt away the daily stresses. This treatment begins with smooth basalt stones placed both beneath and on top of the body. Stones are then used to massage the entire body.
Hot Stone Massage for Two
Create a special memory by sharing a spa experience with your partner or friend. Why not request your Hot Stone Massage for two in the Cedar Sanctuary or Rainforest Haven? As these premiere treatment rooms for two book quickly, we recommend requesting them upon reserving your treatment.
Hot Stone Facial
Our most deluxe facial treatment incorporates heated basalt stones and cool marble stones. This customized treatment stimulates circulation, detoxifies the skin and improves muscle tone. Healthier, more vibrant-looking skin is the ultimate result along with complete relaxation for the body, mind, and spirit. Feel free to request a side-by-side Hot Stone Facial in our premiere treatment room for two.
Sacred Sea
The Sacred Sea combines the most relaxing and revitalizing aspects of hydrotherapy. A luxurious full-body exfoliation using marine elements along with other skin conditioning agents perfectly prepares the skin for a soak in our legendary Bouvier Hydrotherapy Tub.
144 jets and added Dead Sea salts and essential oils massage the entire body. The result is complete relaxation. After you're massaged with a composition of your choosing and wrapped in towels, you'll enjoy a foot massage and a Stress-Relieving Scalp Massage. Like the Hot Stone Facial, you can enjoy this treatment with a friend in Rainforest Haven, where you will replace your stint in the hydrotherapy tub with time in a double-soaker Jacuzzi tub.
Thalassotherapy 'Therapy from the Sea'
A comprehensive variety of treatments will allow you to scrub, wrap and soak your cares away. All treatments begin with a gentle full-body exfoliation and are concluded with a customized massage cream or composition application. Be sure to ask about our new Caribbean Therapy.
Body Elixir
This royal treatment combines exfoliation, hydrotherapy, and moisturizing. First your skin is refined with a gentle plant and flower-based exfoliant. Hydro-massage is then directed on the entire body, followed by a soothing Vichy Shower session beneath five concentrated shower sprays. Finally, a light application of a customized composition of pure flower and plant essence leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and revitalized.
Herbal Body Masque
Your skin is first pampered with a full-body exfoliation to remove surface impurities. Next, a warmed customized body masque, rich in herbal minerals, is applied to your entire body. This masque is removed by hydro-massage and treatment finishes with the application of a botanical moisturizing lotion.
Caribbean Body Masque
The warming essences of mango, cocoa, ginger and lime inspire visions of exotic isles. A dry jute-mitt exfoliation is followed by a self-warming seaweed wrap and is completed with a light massage using a rich mango and cocoa butter moisturizer.
Hydrotherapy Soak
Enjoy the legendary Bouvier Hydro Equinox tub as a treatment unto itself. Custom-blended essential oils and mineral salts are added to our hydro tub as 144 water jets massage your entire body for an invigorating and relaxing treatment. Also great to enjoy in combination with our other services.
Body Therapy
Experience the healing power of professionally administered touch. Within each of us is the ability to relax the body and quiet the mind to experience the rewards of reduced stress and rejuvenation. Sessions vary from a half hour to one-and-a-half hours.
Aromatic Massage
You begin with a customized sensory journey, consultation, and your selection of essential oils. Skilled massage techniques address your individual needs for relaxation and a restored sense of well-being. To enhance your spa experience, request a side-by-side massage in one of our premium treatment rooms. For one or two people, Aromatic Massage is a sensory journey unlike any other.
Aroma Body Wrap
This deeply relaxing aromatic treatment helps to rid the body of everyday toxins. A sea salt exfoliation is followed by a full-body application of warmed hydrating oil. You are then wrapped in warm towels while receiving a gentle head and neck massage. The result is soft, hydrated skin and a heightened sense of well-being.
Salt Glow
A full body exfoliation using mineral-rich salts from the Dead Sea and warmed essential oils. This removes surface impurities and dead skin cells and invigorates the entire body. To complete this treatment a personalized moisturizer nourishes your refreshed skin.
Acupressure Treatments
Acupressure treatments are best enjoyed when wearing loose, comfortable clothing. Due to the specialized nature of these treatments, they are subject to practitioner availability. For this reason, please inquire about this option.
Reflexology
A gentle form of natural healing that involves massaging specific reflex areas of the feet. Circulation is increased while promoting optimal health and function of corresponding organs and glands in the body.
Thai Massage
An ancient form of body work that combines stretching, compression, and the movement of yoga to stretch and tone soft tissues. The energetic focus of the acupressure helps release stagnant energy. A complete and unique way to relieve accumulated daily tensions.

Self-Renewal Face & Body
Our most luxurious facial begins with a relaxing back massage. While enjoying our Essential Facial, you will receive a soothing body treatment. This deluxe experience pampers you for two hours.
Essential Facial
This pampering facial treatment includes two masques customized with essential oils and plant botanicals to suit the needs of your skin. Enjoy a relaxing face massage that includes acupressure points on the face and a Lymphatic Drainage massage that will help detoxify the skin. This treatment finishes with a soothing foot and scalp massage.
Tourmaline Radiance Facial
Includes the same luxurious pampering as the Essential Facial, but enhanced by the energy of Tourmaline. Balance your skin and spirit with formulae containing marine and plant extracts that infuse visible life into your skin.
Back Treatment
A "facial" for your back which includes deep cleansing, polishing, massage and a customized masque. The final complement is the application of a deeply hydrating moisturizer.
Eye Zone Wrap
This treatment focuses on the delicate areas of the eyes that are most vulnerable to stress and the environment. This soothing hydrating wrap can also be incorporated into one of our facials, or added on to most other treatments.
