Wickaninnish Inn and Feast Tofino

Feast Tofino is a festival honouring our boat-to-table tradition, showcasing a locally-caught seafood. Restaurants throughout Tofino and Ucluelet will be offering a nightly prix-fixe menu of either $29, $39, or $49/person starring these local delicacies. The Pointe Restaurant here at the Inn will be offering our three course, prix-fixe menu for $49.00 and our Driftwood Café will offer a $29.00 prix fixe menu with a selection of two tapas-style plates and a dessert. Prix fixe menus are offered from May 1st until and including May 31st, 2013.

Along with the prix-fixe menu and a mouth-watering accommodation package, the Inn is offering a series of events featuring our own culinary brigade led by Chef Nicholas Nutting and Chef Warren Barr, and guest chefs Lucais Syme, Trevor Bird and Nicole Gomes. Friday May 10th, 7:30pm | Inspirational Chef’s Table with Chef Lucais Syme at The Pointe Restaurant

Guest Chef Lucais Syme of La Pentola in Vancouver and the Inn’s culinary brigade bring the spirit of Tuna alive in this Five Course tasting menu. A maximum of twelve seats will be sold around the shared Chef’s table in The Pointe Restaurant’s Rainforest section.

Saturday May 11th, 4:00pm | Driftwood Café Patio Grille with Chef Lucais Syme

Enjoy a casual, BBQ style grille with Chef Lucais Syme of La Pentola in Vancouver, al fresco on the Driftwood Café patio or cozied up next to the stone fireplace.  Mix and mingle with Chef Syme and other foodies, an event to be preceded…or followed, by an evening stroll on Chesterman Beach!

Friday May 17th, 7:30pm | Inspirational Chef’s Table with Trevor Bird The Pointe Restaurant

Guest Chef Trevor Bird of Fable Restaurant and the Inn’s culinary brigade bring the spirit of Salmon alive in this Five Course tasting menu. A maximum of twelve seats will be sold around the shared Chef’s table in The Pointe Restaurant’s Rainforest section.

Saturday May 18th, 5:00pm - 8:00pm | Driftwood Café Patio Grille with Trevor Bird

Enjoy a casual, BBQ style grille with Chef Trevor Bird, al fresco on the Driftwood Café patio or cozied up next to the stone fireplace. Musical guest Sean Burns will provide an eclectical misucal ensemble of folk, country and blues to accompany your evening. Mix and mingle with Chef Bird and other foodies, an event to be preceded…or followed, by an evening stroll on Chesterman Beach!

Thursday May 23rd, 7:30pm | Inspirational Guest Chef Dinner with Nicole Gomes at The Pointe Restaurant

Guest Chef Nicole Gomes of Nicole Gourmet and the Inn’s culinary brigade bring the spirit of Spot Prawn alive in this Five Course tasting menu. A maximum of twelve seats will be sold around the shared Chef’s table in The Pointe Restaurant’s Rainforest section.

Friday May 24th, 6:00pm | Driftwood Café Patio Grille with Nicole Gomes

Enjoy a casual, BBQ style grille with Guest Chef Nicole Gomes, al fresco on the Driftwood Café patio or cozied up next to the stone fireplace. Musical guest Duncan Booth will provide an eclectic ensemble ranging from jazz standards and fingerpicking delta blues to hard strumming classic rock and modern indie pop classics. Mix and mingle with Chef Gomes and other foodies, an event to be preceded…or followed, by an evening stroll on Chesterman Beach!
