Wickaninnish Inn and Feast Tofino

Feast Tofino is a festival honouring our boat-to-table tradition, showcasing a locally-caught seafood. Restaurants in Tofino will be offering a nightly prix-fixe menu of either $29, $39, or $49/person, or a feature menu item starring these local delicacies. 

The Pointe Restaurant here at the Inn will be offering our three course, prix-fixe menu for $49.00 and our Driftwood Café will offer a $29.00 prix fixe menu with three tapas-style plates. Prix fixe menus are offered from May 1st until and including May 29th, 2014.

Along with the prix-fixe menu and a mouth-watering accommodation package, the Inn is offering a series of events featuring our own culinary brigade led by Executive Chef Warren Barr, Restaurant Chef David Sider and guest chefs to be announced. Driftwood Café Patio Grilles and Inspirational Chef's Table dinners offer new themes each week in May to delight your palate:

Chefs Barr and Sider release their weekly tasting menu based on Salmon.

SHELLFISH WEEK

Thursday May 8th, 7:30pm | Inspirational Chef’s Table with Guest Chef Trevor Bird at The Pointe Restaurant

Guest Chef  Trevor Bird of Fable Restaurant in Vancouver and the Inn’s culinary brigade bring the spirit of shellfish alive in this Five Course tasting menu. A maximum of twelve seats will be sold around the shared Chef’s table in The Pointe Restaurant’s Rainforest section. This is your chance for a Chef hosted sneak peek of the following week's tasting menu. 
Cost:  $75.00/pp, plus tax & service (excluding alcohol)

Friday May 9th, 5:00pm - 8:00pm | Driftwood Café Patio Grille with Guest Chef Trevor Bird

Enjoy a casual, BBQ style grille with Guest Chef Trevor Bird, al fresco on the Driftwood Café patio or cozied up next to the stone fireplace.  Mix and mingle with Chef Bird and other foodies, an event to be preceded…or followed, by an evening stroll on Chesterman Beach!
Cost: $45.00/pp, plus tax & service (excluding alcohol)

CRAB WEEK

Thursday May 15th, 7:30pm | Inspirational Chef’s Table with Guest Jonathan Gushue at The Pointe Restaurant

Guest Chef Jonathan Gusue of Ontario and the Inn’s culinary brigade bring the spirit of crab alive in this Five Course tasting menu. A maximum of twelve seats will be sold around the shared Chef’s table in The Pointe Restaurant’s Rainforest section. This is your chance for a Chef-hosted sneak peek of the following week's tasting menu presented by Chefs Barr and Gushue.

Friday May 16th, 5:00pm - 8:00pm | Driftwood Café Patio Grille with Guest Chef Jonathan Gushue
