Sunday Art Tour
We're pleased to offer you a guided tour of the fine art, much of it locally created, throughout the Inn. Meet us in the Beach lobby every Sunday at 10:00am for this complimentary one-hour tour, open to all.
Pacific Rim Whale Festival
It's a whale of a time during the 24th annual Festival, celebrating the migration of 20,000 Pacific Grey Whales past our shores on their journey from Baja to Alaska. The Inn is pleased to be a sponsor of the Festival, offering many events for the young and young at heart, from whale sightings to hands-on education about whales and the traditions of the Nuu-chah-nulth people of the West Coast. Chocolate Demonstration with Chef Matt Wilson
After all, it's All About Chocolate! Join Chef Matt Wilson in our Salal Room on Easter Sunday from 2:30pm until 3:30pm for a Chocolate Demonstration and Chocolate Tasting. Oh, the indulgence!
Tofino Shorebird Festival
We're not the only ones who flock to Tofino for some well deserved rest and relaxation! Organized by the Raincoast Education Society, the Tofino Shorebird Festival highlights the thousands of sandpipers, plovers, whimbrels, and many other shorebirds that pass through and rest in the Tofino area as they make their impressive journey from South and Central America northward to their Arctic breeding grounds. The weekend includes talks & slideshows, film events, guided birding and interpretive walks.
Visit Clayoquot/Stubbs Island
Did you know that the Clayoquot Island Preserve (just to the left of the First Street Dock) was the original trading post of Tofino? Every Victoria Day week-end, its owners invite the public to enjoy this 25 acre island, with whimsical gardens and perfect beaches in an idyllic "living off the grid" scenario.
Tofino Food and Wine Festival

Edge to Edge Marathon

Tofino Lantern Festival
One of our favorite Tofino events, this after-dark fundraiser for the Raincoast Interpretive Centre illuminates the Tofino Botanical Gardens with a magical variety of homemade paper lanterns. Stop by the Raincoast Interpretive Centre the week leading up to the Festival to design your own lantern (the more creative, the better!), and join us in the Gardens. Click www.tofinores.com
7th Annual Wickaninnish Inn Pro-Am Golf Tournament
Every year, we play the scenic Long Beach Golf Course, with proceeds going toward the Ucluelet Secondary School's athletics program - including golf, of course! Last year, over $15,000 was raised for our local students.
Tofino Film Festival
This grass-roots festival is in its thirteenth year of showcasing a diverse selection of films from across North America. Proceeds will help upgrade Tofino's cozy Clayoquot Sound Theatre. Check back here for the lineup!
Clayoquot Oyster Festival
An annual tribute to our favorite bivalve! This is a week-end of entertaining talks, great BC wine, oyster farm tours, and the Mermaids Ball. The Oyster Gala is always a Tofino event to remember as local chefs compete for the most popular creation, and local residents display their best oyster slurping skills to an appreciative audience.
