Truffles and Trends in Turin
In November, the annual Congress of Relais & Chateaux met in the Northern Italian city of Turin, a thriving, visitor-friendly metropolis in the shadow of the snow-capped Alps. While there, we explored the city’s magnificent cathedral and enjoyed some of the best cuisine Northern Italy has to offer. The city is, after all, home to the Slow Food movement’s annual “Salone del Gusto” and is just minutes away from white truffle country.
The meetings were as productive as the hospitality was generous. Our new CEO, Jean-Francois Ferret, and his executive team have a robust new marketing program for our association. It will be rolled out over the next 12 to 18 months and will bring added value and recognition to our loyal guests and suppliers around the world.
